Don’t Miss the Virginia Art-Business Conference!

It’s time for the Clark Hulings Foundation Virginia Art-Business Conference! From November 7-9th, 2019, this year’s conference is packed with tons of events. We start off with a Thriving Art Exchange art-industry dialogue November 7th from 12-5:30 pm, followed by two days of entrepreneurial training especially for artists. Taking place at University of Mary Washington, programs are led by Elizabeth Hulings, CHF director and co-founder; Carolyn Edlund, CHF sales director, and events manager; Daniel DiGriz, CHF education director; and Shem Cohen, CEO of Change Events. CHF is offering an early-bird price of $295 for the art-business training component until September 8th. Tickets and info for both parts of the conference are available here. An event like this really embodies our adage “Art is a business and artists should run it”—don’t miss out!
