Celebrating Email Mastermind Success

We’re happy to report the success of our recent Email Mastermind Series, led by our very own Sales & Events Director Carolyn Edlund! The series took place over the course of three weeks and met live on Zoom, and taught participating artists how to use email marketing to communicate with potential buyers and increase sales of their work.

Topics covered by the series included building an email subscriber list, understanding the anatomy of a successful email, building personal email campaigns, and using analytics to measure results and create new strategies, among others. Mastermind artists participated in an interactive discussion and received personalized feedback and critique throughout the process. Recordings from all Mastermind sessions are accessible through the CHF Digital Campus, and can be reviewed by the participants—and anyone who’d like to register as an Entrepreneur on CHF’s Digital Campus—at any time.

Carolyn discussed her vision for the course: “My goal in running this Mastermind was to increase the confidence level of our participants so that they could get up and running with their own email campaigns immediately. It’s important for the artist to simply begin with regular communication, and hone their approach as they get response and feedback. During one session, I asked how many artists on the call had ever made a sale as a result of sending out emails, and almost everyone raised their hand. That’s reason enough right there to begin this invaluable business practice.”

Sean Kane, painter of baseball-themed artworks created on classic baseball gloves for fans, players, and MLB teams, said, “Carolyn shared solid info, feedback, and actionable steps with this course—definitely glad I participated and know it has already made an impact. Can’t wait to implement more of the takeaways and see what results. Thanks for sharing your expertise!”

Cheryl Wilson Smith, a glass sculptor, said, “Thank you so much. I learned more in the first class than I have ever learned—you are a fantastic teacher! In your class I was shown actual ways to improve and create my mailing list that I haven’t found in any other classes. It was very thorough…thank you!”

We’re looking forward to the growth we are sure to see from all participating artists, who are now equipped with the tangible email marketing skills needed to elevate their businesses, personal brands, and sales to the next level. Now more than ever, when times are tough, artists have the opportunity to step forward as leaders of society, using their creativity and their art for conversation, healing, and innovation.
