We’re happy to report the success of our recent Email Mastermind Series, led by our very own Sales & Events Director Carolyn Edlund! The series took place over the course of three weeks and met live on Zoom, and taught participating artists how to use email marketing to communicate with potential buyers and increase sales of their work.
Topics covered by the series included building an email subscriber list, understanding the anatomy of a successful email, building personal email campaigns, and using analytics to measure results and create new strategies, among others. Mastermind artists participated in an interactive discussion and received personalized feedback and critique throughout the process. Recordings from all Mastermind sessions are accessible through the CHF Digital Campus, and can be reviewed by the participants—and anyone who’d like to register as an Entrepreneur on CHF’s Digital Campus—at any time.
Carolyn discussed her vision for the course: “My goal in running this Mastermind was to increase the confidence level of our participants so that they could get up and running with their own email campaigns immediately. It’s important for the artist to simply begin with regular communication, and hone their approach as they get response and feedback. During one session, I asked how many artists on the call had ever made a sale as a result of sending out emails, and almost everyone raised their hand. That’s reason enough right there to begin this invaluable business practice.”
