“Vanishing Fauna” by CHF Accelerator Fellow Kara Maria will be featured in this solo exhibition at b. sakata garo in Sacramento. Human activity is causing the mass extinction of plants and animals at an alarming rate. Miniature portraits of disappearing species inhabit Maria’s otherwise abstract paintings, focusing attention on this important issue.
There will be a Reception on July 13th, from 6-9pm.
