“The Ice Next Time: Textiles and Artifacts of Dark Age North America (2026-2280ce)” is an installation created by Stephen Hendee, a CHF 2014 Business Accelerator Grant Finalist. His work is presented by SiTE:LAB @ 54 Jefferson as though it were a retrospective exhibition presented in the year 2439. This installation looks back as a historical presentation of a dramatic time when electricity ceased to work. From this vantage point, “The Ice Next Time” looks at the handcrafted objects of a difficult era where civil order as we know it disintegrates and society must find ways to reestablish itself. This exhibit will truly be fascinating for all viewers.
