The Tower Hill Botanic Garden presents Elizabeth Corkery’s Ruin Sequence. This exhibition is Elizabeth’s most ambitious project to-date. Her work focuses on the relationship between constructed garden environments and the trade in plants throughout the Victorian era. Much of this work was conceived in the United Kingdom during a recent month-long residency in London, where Elizabeth travelled and documented specific English landscapes.
For those interested in learning more about Elizabeth’s work, you can listen to her podcast here. You can also visit her works in person, now through May 2017 in the conservatories of Tower Hill.
This event was funded and supported by the Clark Hulings Foundation Business Accelerator Fellowship.
