Tim Newton and Shelley Farmer explain the options available to art collectors when they are planning for the future of their art. Tim notes that art can be considered the “atm on the wall,” and recognizes donation to galleries and museums as a choice option. Shelley mentions that pieces can be taken to a dealer, sent out on consignment, or auctioned off. With enough information, the options are endless for collectors, who are planning ahead.
