Blue Spiral 1, a fine art and craft museum in Asheville, North Carolina, will host the show Organic Form: Works Inspired by Nature, running from March 1 to April 27, 2018. This is a group show including Clark Hulings Foundation Fellow Kristin LeVier. “I love things that undulate, slither, and flutter through their environments,” Kristin explains in an interview with CHF. “And I spend my time working to create objects that appear to have a sense of organic motion.”
Blue Spiral 1 is a three-floor gallery in downtown Asheville. The gallery represents the estate of Will Henry Stevens, an early 20th century modernist inspired by spirituality in nature. An area in Blue Spiral’s upper level is dedicated to an ongoing and changing display of available works from the Stevens estate.
