An investment adviser with Fuhrmann Capital, Stephen Zimmerman has more than 45 years of experience in the financial services industry—including 25 years at Smith Barney, where he was one of the brokerage firm’s top producers nationwide, rising quickly through the ranks to became a senior vice president. He has worked with both institutional clients and individuals, and has become known for his expertise in pension design, administration, and retirement trust investing.
An avid art collector, Steve is on the board of directors of Indianapolis’ Eiteljorg Museum, co-founded the museum’s Western Art society, and was a creator of its “Quest for the West” art show and sale. He is an appraiser of late 19th century American realist art, a former associate of the American Society of Appraisers, and a board member of the Haan Mansion Museum of Indiana Art.
Steve is a also championship bridge player, and when he earned the rank of “Life Master” in 1967, he was the youngest person in Indiana to achieve the title at that time.
