Advisory Board
Ryan C. Fuhrmann, CFA, is President and founder of Fuhrmann Capital LLC, an Indiana-based investment management firm focused on active portfolio management. Ryan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996 and a Master’s degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002. He has taught finance at Butler University and currently volunteers at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art.
The foundations of Ryan’s interest in Western American Art stemmed from childhood visits to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum and Autry Museum of the American West. He started volunteering in the Eiteljorg’s Agave young professional network and has gone through guide/docent training, as well as the museum’s Western Art Society (WAS), whose primary role is to invite artists for and assist with hosting the Quest for the West Art Show and Sale. Ryan currently chairs the WAS Artist Development Committee and actively participates in art collector activities as much as possible. While at Butler U. Ryan was also very fortunate to meet founding Clark Hulings Foundation Board Member Stephen Zimmerman, and lucked into a knowledgable mentor in both the investment and art worlds.
