Jack A Morris, Jr., has been trading art for over 55 years. He is the founder of Morris & Whiteside Auctions and the Scottsdale Art Auction, one of the top US auction houses for Western art. Jack has also opened commercial galleries in Houston, Dallas, and Santa Fe, and wrote Contemporary Artists of South Carolina, a definitive work on artists in that state.
Jack established his keen eye for the arts while studying drawing and painting at the University of South Carolina, and went on to do graduate work in arts administration and art history at Harvard University.
