Accelerator Fellow (2014)
Laura Moriarty makes sculptural paintings whose forms, colors, textures, and patterns result from the same processes that shape and reshape the earth, such as heating, cooling, erosion, and weathering. Laura’s pieces have been exhibited both nationally and internationally, and her work is held in the permanent collections of The New York Public Library, Cleveland’s Progressive Art Collection, and The Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium.
