Laura Petrovich-Cheney is a sculptor whose work examines second chances and reinvention. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, which leveled her parents’ home, Petrovich-Cheney began collecting some of the wood debris that littered New Jersey’s coastal communities, and has used it to create pieces that tell a story of survival. The Foundation is supporting her creation of new works for a solo exhibition at the Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland (January – February 2016).
